Nothing happens unless first we dream

Fotografías, colores, frío vs calor, estampados, drapeados, básicos, telas, cortes, zapatos... Aquí tenéis un pequeño resúmen de aquellos diseños que realmente me transmiten algo, porque notarse la crisis, se nota, sí, en la moda también, los diseñadores no arriesgan y como observaréis en los siguientes collages hay grandes firmas que no están incluidas, no me han transmitido nada, de hecho alguna de esas pasarelas me han parecido más bien escaparates de un H&M cualquiera, con total respeto a esa tienda.

Photographs, colors, cold vs hot, patterns, draped, bascis, materials, lengths, shoes... Here you have a small summary of those desings that really transmit me something, because the crisis have left mark in the fashion world, designers don't risk and as you will observe in these following collages, there are some big brands that they aren't included, they haven't transmited me nothing, the fact is that some of those catwalks have looked more like a showcase of any H&M, with respect to that shop.

La moda española cada vez es mejor, o al menos eso me parece a mí.

Me encantan este tipo de fotografías porque en ellas se aprecian todos los detalles..

Y yo me pregunto, ¿Por qué no tendré un par de esos zapatos o ese maravilloso bolso?

I like to look for things no one else catches. I hate the way drivers never look at the road in old American movies.

Hace ya casi un par de semanas que me compré mi ansiada réflex, ¡Sí, al fin es mía!, estuve dudando hasta el último momento pero al final decidí comprarme la Nikon D60, me caía mejor en la mano y bueno, es cierto que la fotografía no la hace la cámara si no el fotógrafo y que ninguna cámara por muy buena que sea en automático superará a un buen fotógrafo en manual... Así que, ahí comenzaron mis andadas, leí, ví videos y tutoriales y escuché consejos, ya sólo me quedaba una cosa: poner en práctica todo lo aprendido.
¿Queréis dar una vuelta por mi ciudad, Bilbao?

Two weeks ago more or less I decided to buy my dreamed reflex camera, yes finally it is mine! I dude until the last moment but in the end I make up my mind and I bought the Nikon D60, it felt better on my hand thant the other one and well, it is true that the photography is not made by the camera but by the photographer and that any camera in automatic mode, it doesn't matter how good it is, will exceed a good photographer in manual mode... So, in that moment started my experience as an amateur photographer, I read, watched videos and tutorials and I also listened to some advices, I only had to do one thing: Practice all the things I learnt.

La ex-spice sigue dando de qué hablar, y vuelve a las andadas con esta editorial en el número de Octubre de Elle USA titulada "El año de Victoria", y a mí que nunca me ha caido bien me pregunto ¿Es realmente el año de Victoria? ¿Qué ha hecho este año que no haya hecho hasta ahora?, porque que yo sepa, asiste a las mismas fiestas it, se codea con la misma gente it y sale de compras por los mismos sitios it...

¿Vosotros qué pensáis? ¿Puro marketing?

Pero la editorial tiene algo a su favor, los outfits, que me encantan, ¡Son tan vintage!

The ex-spice continues starting people talking and comes back with this editorial in the October issue of Elle USA called "The age of Victoria", and me, that I can't stand with her I ask myself, Is this really the age of Victoria? What has she done this year that she hasn't done yet? because as I know, she goes to the same it parties, has the same it friends and goes shopping to the same it places...

What do you think about this? Pure marketing?

But this editorial has something good, the outfits, I love them, they are very vintage!

When you have no more paper issues left to read..

Hace unas cuantas entradas ya os comenté la existencia de revistas on-line como I love Fake, ahora os traigo otras dos más que a las que no viene mal echar un vistazo de vez en cuando, sobre todo cuando ya habéis devorado todas las revistas en formato papel que os permite vuestra economía.

Urban, grunge y desenfadada, así es Foam Magazine. En el número de Agosto y Septiembre podemos ver editoriales como esta de aquí abajo y colaboraciones como la de la modelo Zippora Seven.

Some posts ago I wrote about the on-line magazines as I love Fake, now I want to introduce two more which are a good option when you have read all the magazines in paper format that your economy can afford.

Urban, grunge and carefree, these are the adjectives I would use to describe Foam Magazine. In the August and September issue we can see some editorials like this below and colaborations like the one with the model Zippora Seven.

Autumn what's that? Spring is here again!

La vuelta al colegio ha sido dura, pero ¿Qué mejor que nuevos aires para empezar el nuevo curso? (también aplicable a los que habéis vuelto al trabajo) parece mentira que empiece el otoño viendo otra vez vestidos vaporosos, pantalones cortos... Sí, aquí están las colecciones de Primavera/Verano 2010, bueno, las tres colecciones que más me han llamado la atención.

Back to school was very hard but what is better than new airs to star the new academic year? (It's also applicable for the peolple who has came back to their jobs) I don't believe that the Autumn is almost here if I look to this sheer dresses, shorts... Yes, the new Spring/Summer 2010 collections are here, well, the three collections that have attracted my attention.

Comencemos: Preen, vestidos vaporosos, con transparencias o anudados al cuello, yo me quedaría con ese último detalle, preveo una próxima tendencia.

Start: Preen, sheer dresses, with transparencies or tied around the neck, I would pay attention to this last detail, I anticipate a new trend.

¡Oh Wang, Wang debería ponerte en un altar! Alexander nos ha presentado una colección cómoda, sporty, con colores básicos y transparencias, ¿Algo a destacar? Las medias por debajo de la rodilla aire colegial.
