New M magazine by Le Monde

Después de el lanzamiento de LOVE, WAR y T Magazine (New York Times), Le Monde, el diario francés lanza su revista de moda, M, que será publicada mensualmente.
Para su primer número éste periódico eligió a Audrey Marnay para que ocupase la portada, y a modelos como Denisa Dvorakova, Tanya Dziahileva, Adama, Daiane Conterato, Sophie Vlaming, Vlada, Alla para la editorial.
Bajo el título "Styles simplement noir et blanc" M nos presenta una serie de espectaculares fotografías en blanco y negro tomadas por Matthias Vriens en las que las modelos se visten con blazers y bodysuits.
Aunque ésta editoria me ha encantado, habrá que esperar a los próximos números para dar el veredicto final.

After the launch of LOVE, WAR and T Magazine (New York Times), Le Monde, the French newspaper launches its fashion magazine, M, which will be published monthly.
For the first isssue, this newspaper chose Audrey Marnay for the cover and models like Denisa Dvorakova, Tanya Dziahileva, Adama, Daiane Conterato, Sophie Vlaming, Vlada, Alla for the editorial.
Under the title "Styles simplement noir et blanc" M presents us a serie of spectacular photographs in black and white taken by Matthias Vriens in which the models are dressed with blazers and bodysuits.
Although this editorial is great, I think we have to wait for the next issues to give the final veredict.

La nueva Pedderzine ya ha salido, Pedderzine es la revista producida por On pedder, una empresa minorista especializada en zapatos bolsos y accesorios de lujo instalada en Hong Kong.
En la revista se mezcla algo tan corriente como el dinero con zapatos, bolsos y otros accesorios.
Éste es el número 5 de la revista el cual recibe el nombre de "El rey es el dinero en efectivo" y la sección de zapatos y accesorios es apabullante como de costumbre. Si queréis descargarla, haced click aquí.

New Pedderzine is out now, Pedderzine is the magazine produced by On Pedder, the Hong Kong luxury shoes/bags/accessories retailer.

Necesito postear también estás imágenes que, aunque pertenezcan al tercer número de la revista (P/V 2008) estoy enamorada de ellas porque son extravagantes e impresionantes, y me encanta como mezclan paisajes naturales y el cuerpo humano con los zapatos.

And I've to post these pictures too, although they are from the 3rd issue (2008 S/S) I'm in love with them because they are outrageous and awesome! I love the way natural landscapes and human body are mixed up with shoes!

No es que sea una diseñadora con un gran renombre y puede que ni siquiera muchos de vosotros conozcáis su trabajo ni hayáis oído hablar de él como yo hasta hace unos escasos días que me encontré por casualidad su web rondando por Internet.
Sus diseños se caracterizan por la naturalidad y sencillez que emanan, así como por el toque romántico y los colores pastel que abundan en la mayoría de ellos.
Y una vez más debo dar gracias al gigante Google por su capacidad para mostrarnos por casualidad webs como esta.

She is not a great renown designer and it could be that many of you have never heard about her work as I until some days ago that I found her web on Internet.
Her designs are characterized of the naturalness and simplicity they emanate, as well as by the romantic touch and the pastel colours that abound in the majority of them.
And once again I have to thank to the gigantic Google by its capacity to show us for coincidence webs like this one.

Aunque sigue haciendo sol, al menos por el norte de España, no podemos olvidarnos que aún estamos en Marzo y que las temperaturas no son muy elevadas, por ello y debido a que adoro las fotografías a personas desconocidas que gracias a su ingenio mezclan tendencias y crean nuevos y fabulosos outfits, he decidido seleccionar algunas de las fotos que encontré un día de éstos navegando por la web de la revista Elle.
De estas fotografías debo destacar: las hombreras que se pondrán muy de moda en el próximo otoño y quizá veamos algunas de la mano de los más fashionistas en primavera; los vaqueros rotos como bien adelantaba Topshop hace unos meses; las medias grises que poco a poco van haciéndose un hueco en los armarios de muchas celebrities y demás seguidores de la moda, y por supuesto los tonos tierra combinados con el negro.

Although the weather continues being sunny in the north of Spain, we can't forgive we are in March and that the temperatures aren't very high, because of it and due I adore the photographs of unknown people who thanks to their ingenuity mix trends and create new and fabulous outfits, I have decided to select some of the photographs I found one of these days navigating on the Elle magazine's web.
From these photographs I have to emphasize: the shoulder pads which are going to be on fashion in autumn and perhaps we will see some of the hand of some fashion people the next spring; the broken denim as well advanced Topshop some months ago; grey tights that little by little are doing a hole in a lot of celebrities' wardrobes, and of course the land tones combined with the black.

Lorick's Fall 2009 Lookbook: Hitchcock vs Godard

Para el Lookbook de Lorick Otoño/Invierno 2009, el fotógrafo Tom Hines se inspiró en las leyendas de Godard y Hitchkcock.

"Cuando vas a algún sitio es muy dificil volver atrás, al origen, pero parte del espíritu se queda" dice Roanne Adams diseñadora y directora artísitca.

Encauzando los temas de la película French New Wave y The Bride Wore Black e incorporando "la sensibilidad de la narrativa de Hitchcock" las imágenes nos cuentan una historia de chicas orgullosas y adulteradas, de una ciudad misteriosa y suspendida en el tiempo por la que vagamos viviendo lejos de la timidez o andando bajo pesados cielos llenos de nubes, estas historias parecen carentes de oxigeno pero desbordantes de sentido.

For Lorick’s F/W 2009 Lookbook, photographer Tom Hines drew inspiration from legends Godard and Hitchcock.

"You get somewhere and it's hard to trace back to the origin, but some of the spirit remains" Art/Design Director Roanne Adams says.

Channeling the themes of French New Wave film The Bride Wore Black while incorporating "Hitchcock's narrative sensibilities," the images tell us a story of proud girls and adulterated that we wander out-of-the-way for mysterious town and suspended in the time, live inside shied away or walk under heavy skies of clouds, these stories look short of oxygen but overflowing of sense.

Era ya casi una necesidad dedicar un post a Nicole Brundage, una amiga me dijo que se había enamorado de estos zapatos negros que véis aquí abajo, y me incitó a meterme en su web.
Sólo he subido estos tres pares de zapatos, aunque ha sido dificil la elección, porque así las fotografías pueden ser más grandes, si queréis ver la colección completa primavera/verano 09 de esta diseñadora americana que colaboró con Manolo Blanhik para crear la colección de zapatos de Zac Posen otoño/invierno 04, pinchad aquí.

It was almost a need to dedicate a post to Nicole Brundage, a friend told me she fell in love with these black shoes (down) and she incited me to visit the web. El detalle del botón en la parte alta del tacón y que el zapato quede sujeto al pie mediante una cinta de dos vueltas hacen de ellas unas sandalias originales pero sofisticadas.

The detail of the button in the high part of the heel and the two returned ribbon do of a pair of original but sophisticated sandals.
Siguendo el más estilo cowboy chic nos podemos encontrar estas sandalias abotinadas con efecto "cosido" creado por su propia piel.

Continuing the cowboy chic style we can find these half booted sandals with a "sewn" efect created by their own leather.

De estas últimas cabe destacar las hojas bicolores en la parte superior creando el efecto visual de unas alas.

It fits to emphasize the wing visual effect created by two-tone leaves positioned in the high part.

Brillos, muchos brillos y plataformas excesivas fueron la característica principal del desfile de Nina Ricci en lo que a calzado se refiere. Los tacones de 11 centímetros parecen insignificantes al lado de estas plataformas con las que ninguna modelo se cayó ni siquiera tambaleó ¿Acaso les enseñaron a andar sobre semejantes rascacielos?
Shines, many shines and excessive platforms were the main characteristic of the Nina Ricci's catwalk in which footwear refers. The heels of 11 centimeters seem insignificant next to these platforms from the ones that none model fell down, not even staggered ¿Perhaps were they taught to walk on similar skyscraper?
