Backless trend and Cannes red carpet love affair

Estos días Cannes es un hervidero de tendencias, además de por supuesto, un escaparate inigualable para firmas de moda, diseñadores, marcas de cosmética y obviamente, cine, que de eso se trata.

Red carpet por aquí, photocall por allá… pero una cosa ha quedado clara, ‘No más piernas, por favor’; Las actrices, modelos y celebrities han decidido dejar a un lado el ‘efecto pierna derecha de Angelina Jolie’ que tanto dio que hablar el pasado año y han optado por la que seguramente será una de las tendencias más consistentes de la temporada estival, las prendas backless o con aperturas en la espalda.

Emma Watson y su Chanel Couture, Nicole Kidman con su Valentino Couture, Cara Delevingne y su Burberry de encaje negro e incluso Doutzen Kroes que la ha lucido por partida doble…
¡La backless fever ya está aquí!

Cannes is a throng of trends these days, and of course a great window for fashion brands, designers, cosmetic brands and obviously, cinema, because that’s what it’s about.

Red carpet over here, photocall over there… but one thing is clear this year, “No more legs, please’; Actresses, models and celebrities have decided to leave aside “the Angelina Jolie left leg effect” that was on fashion last year and have given in the trend that will surely be one of the hits of the next summery season, backless clothes.

Emma Watson and her Chanel Couture, Nicole Kidman and her Valentino Couture, Cara Delevingne and the lacy Burberry design and even Doutzen Kroes who has worn it twice…

Shooting: Style on the street for Impics Studio

¡Tenía muchísimas ganas de enseñaros estas fotografías!
Hace unas semanas que fueron tomadas en el estudio de Irune Michelena de Impics Studio, una fotógrafa bilbaína con la que también colaboré en el lookbook P/V 2013 de Jota Once – ¡Prometo publicar más fotografías pronto! – y la verdad es que no puedo estar más contenta con el resultado.

Aquellos que seguís mis pasos por Instagram os resultará familiar esta falda asimétrica porque ya la habéis visto en un par de ocasiones, pero quería esperar a publicar estas fotografías para ‘presentarla oficialmente’; ¡Ya he encontrado sustituta a la wrap skirt de Zara! ;)

I was willing to show you these photographs!
They were taken some weeks ago in the Irune Michelena’s studio, she is a great photographer from Bilbao with who I have also collaborated in another project, the Jota Once S/S 2013 lookbook – I promise to publish more photographs soon! – and the truth is that I am really happy with the result.

Those of you who follow my steps via Instagram may know this asymmetrical skirt because I have uploaded a couple of photographs, but I was waiting for these photographs to make the “official presentation”; I have found my substitute to the Zara’s wrap skirt! ;)

Cara Delevingne's tattoo craze

La atracción de las modelos por los tatuajes es un hecho más que comprobado, tanto es así que algunas como Erin Wasson o Catherine McNeil tienen su cuerpo repleto de ellos, pero ¡Ojo! Cara Delevingne se ha unido al clan y planea robarles el título de tattoo queens.

Si bien la pasada semana Instagram y Twitter echaron humo cuando la apodada ‘nueva Kate Moss’ hizo públicas varias fotografías de su primer tatuaje – una cabeza de león en el dedo índice derecho –, Cara Delevingne ha vuelto a inyectarse tinta en la piel apenas unos días después de lucir a su felino acompañante en la alfombra roja de Cannes.
Esta vez ha sido se ha tatuado sus iniciales, "CJD", en el exterior de su mano derecha.

The attraction between models and tattoos is a checked fact, so is it that Erin Wasson and Catherine McNeil have their bodies full of them, but wait! Cara Delevingne has just joined the group and she plans to rob their tattoo queen title.

If the last week Instagram and Twitter gave off smoke when the “new Kate Moss” published some photographs of her first tattoo – a lion head on her forefinger –, Cara Delevingne has inked her body again just some days after showing her feline companion on the Canne’s red carpet.
This time she has tattoed her initials, "CJD", on the outside of her right hand.

Cara Jocelyn Delevingne, the model of thousand and one faces and if she continues line she will be named as the model of thousand and one tattoos.
